Research Projects:

  • 2006-…: M.A. Project: “The Anonymous Author. The Invisibility of the Translator in the Portuguese Context”. Supervisors: Alexandra Assis Rosa and João Ferreira Duarte. – This project aims to explore the dichotomy between the role and the image of the translator, studying the image of the translator and the role of translation through the analysis of book reviews published in the Expresso newspaper between 1998 and 2007.
  • “Intercultural Literature in Portugal, 1930-2000: A Critical Bibliography”. This project is a joint research project of Research Group 7 and the Centre for Communication and Cultural Studies, Catholic University of Portugal (CECC-UCP), under the supervision of Teresa Seruya. It aims to produce a database of translated literature published in book form in Portugal, 1930-2000.
