Anglo Saxonica

Anglo Saxonica is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal that disseminates research connected with the activities of the University of Lisbon Centre for English Studies, promoting the dialogue within areas mainly related to English and North-American Studies. These include academic research in the field of literature, culture, language, inter-arts, and reception and translation studies, as well as other disciplines. Its editorial design aims at promoting a high degree of thematic cohesion for each issue, accommodating a variety of disciplinary perspectives, original studies, interviews, book reviews and even literary texts. It also invites the contribution of leading scholars in guest-edited volumes on specific fields. Articles in English and Portuguese are subject to judgment by members of the Editorial Board of referees.
